Coverage and responsible use

The files contain all 51 tracked jurisdictions and identify research status explicitly. Only 50 records are currently verified; empty or null fields in the others must not be interpreted as “no requirement.”

Dataset review date

2026-09-20. Preserve this date and the research-status fields when reusing the data.

Field definitions

  • researchStatus / indexable: publication readiness and search-index eligibility.
  • overallStatuses: overlapping evidence-based policy categories.
  • standaloneCourseRequired: true, false, or null when not established.
  • graduationRequirement: whether personal finance is tied to the applicable diploma.
  • effectiveSchoolYear / firstGraduatingClass: separate implementation milestones.
  • sourceIds: provenance links to source objects in the same record.
